Some halogen ions, especial chloride ion can damage protective film and improve the reaction of corrosion. So the corrosion may be developed quickly.

Descaling Method For Steel Structure

As we all known, steel structure material is not easy to be rust, it is fatal if the steel structure rust. It may lead to seriously consequence. There are many descaling method for steel structures. Such as manual descaling, sand or shot blasting, acid pickling and others.

Manual descaling is always in low efficiency and can not derusting throughly. It has an influence on the adhesion of the paint and the structure is easy to rust. Some light steel structures with small round bar and angle steel mostly adopt this descaling method. When you use the acid pickling, you should put the component into a pickling tank and remove the oil and rust at first. Keep its surface in gray iron and clean it clear after acid pickling.

Some people like to use sandblasting and shot peening to remove the rust. Make its surface clean up by sandblasting machine. Them it will exposed metal color. This descaling method can do more thoroughly than other method. At the same time, this method is in high efficiency. But the best method to move the rust is pickling phosphating.

Steel Structure Instability And Corrosion

The important structures which are easy to occur load change adopt hyperstatic structure, such as bridge, truss, sluice gate and missile launchers. Because they have redundant bar which can prevent that a member instability cause the overall instability.

Steel structure instability can be divided into two categories. They are overall buckling and local buckling. The overall instability mostly caused by partial instability. Reinforcement Technology Of Steel Structure Damage

If there are some damages in steel structure, we need solve problem in time. There are five factors that caused steel structure damage. Firstly, the load changed, the service extended, rules and regulations changed. Secondly, structure deformation,twist,disability or depression with various accidents. And it also section weaken, rod warping, connection cracking. Thirdly, component or connection deformation, cracking and warping which caused by temperature effects. There are three reinforcement method to steel structure. They are section reinforcement, change the calculation diagram and prestressed cable method. The method of changing calculation diagram is that adding support, adjust load distribution,reduce stress levels, decrease the stress peak. Prestressed cable method is that strengthening weak links with high-strength cable or improving the whole structure bearing capacity, rigidity and stability.

Once the earthquake occurred, we must first maintain a clear, cool headed and determine shock condition promptly. Don’t jump off building in panic. This is very important.
